Manifestation

According to many books out there we should be able to will ourselves
a house, a car, the job we want, partner and money.

And if this is true, how come no one seems to have it all? Why have I
personally never seen someone with more money than they can spend, the
perfect partner along with the perfect job ~ perfect meaning all in
balance, the job not trumping family nor personal care.

The examples religion gives have never been married, nor are they
raising children.

So if I can manifest everything I want, why is it that even those who
teach this haven't accomplished this?

This is my theory.

Manifestation is the formation of thoughts in your mind. No matter
what theory you look at how you think is where it starts. Whether its
a dream board, journalling or meditation ~ This in itself DOES work.
But rather working to bring it into reality these tools aid you to see
the reality you want but not necessarily creating the reality you want,

The word perception is where the confusion lies.

Perception is how we perceive the things we own, our partner, our
life, home, job etc. Thus our perception of our lives create how we
feel about it, thus deciding if we love our lives or don't like them
so much.

Manifestation of our perception works because our minds cannot tell
the difference between memories and those things we visualize. So if
we visualize what we want, especially how it feels, in a realistic
manner, not a fantasy like state, we can create a state where our
brain thinks we have already done it. This takes away the fear and
apprehension the ego uses from keeping us to move forward.

This sets us in a mental state of we can do anything (because we feel
we have already done it). So we easily ask for help, find the answers
we need to aid us along our paths and life seems to feel more
effortless.

Most people stop before they even start due to feeling they will fail.
No help is sought, research done rather the idea lies dead in the
water and never pursued. Visualizing you have already completed the
task, how it feels, the reality of it (not the 'best case scenario'
but the reality) takes away the fear of moving through the experience.

For example
I want to be an author
Imagine you already have a book published in your mind, see if it is a
hard cover or a soft cover. How thick is it? Do you have a
publisher? or did you self publish? Can you see yourself signing
books? Talking about them? Sit with this thought. Sometimes we will
sit with thoughts for months, even years, but let them become clearer
and clearer in your mind.

As you keep visualizing your book, the idea will become clearer, the
title will come, the subject, the length, what it looks like, how long
it is and what it is about. Once it feels so real you will naturally
begin to find out what it takes to publish (and you may already have
started writing it). You will begin to research publishing and the
reality of becoming a published author, why? because it will just feel
like it's time. You will naturally have removed the fear by just
deciding the book is yours.

You may also find after you have done all your research publishing is
not for you. This is another thing frustrating people. Why do all
that manifestation if it doesn't work out the way I thought it should?

Remember we often dream rather than imagine in reality terms. Fantasy
is not and cannot be translated into reality. Most people who appear
to become famous overnight have already been at it for years if not
decades. Even Justin Bieber has been singing for over a decade.
Never forget things like this. We do not make things appear like magic.

Rather we begin to perceive what is possible, what we want while we
learn to see (in a better light) what we already have.

Keep your manifestations realistic. When we imagine, keep your
reality grounded, or yes you set yourself up for failure and you have
done this on purpose to subconsciously prove nothing works out for
you. Our egos are brilliant and they are usually driving our thoughts.

This seems like work right?

It's more like another way to chose to spend your thoughts rather than
full of worry and pain only, adding in the possibilities and other
plausible realities.

Most people seek manifestation when nothing seems to be going right,
their lives seems stagnant or not enough. They feel lost.

The way manifestation has been presented is as a quick fix to bring
money, financial stability and those things we feel we need to own the
things to make us look rich. One of the theories being if you act
rich you will become rich. Although this mindset is true if you put
yourself in debt creating this, you will not become rich. That is
common sense.

The thought behind this theory is the way you present. If you value
what you have (regardless of what it cost you) and honestly feel you
are wealthy, then those around you will also perceive you as wealthy.
This is projected by your thoughts and you have to truly believe it
(yes sometimes its a fake it til you make it thought while you listen
to your ego fight you all the way on it) And it is the way you
project yourself.

Confidence is key here. For all of this. If you don't have the
confidence these things are even possible, you won't imagine this
reality, let alone how it feels, how good it feel. No, you will
decide it is not possible then wonder why it is not happening for you
but happens for everyone else.

Find one person who has a life you admire. How did they do it? How
did they get there? How long did it take? Do they have everything
you would like? Did they achieve a happy relationship? (remember if
you want this and they didn't achieve it then don't decide what they
did will work for you or decide they have it all, for in your opinion
they don't have what you want) Do they have kids? again, if this is
what you want then don't compare their achievements to your failures.

You may need to find many examples of what you would like.

So lets look at what one actually needs to do to work manifestation,
creative visualization, the law of attraction as this theory has been
around long before 'the secret' and Oprah stumbled upon it.

You are not going to like this though because again it all begins with
you accepting where you are now and who you are now, I did say you can
make it a fake it till you make it kind of thing so this means, leave
you alone, don't fix you (or your life) accept you and where you are,
this is the first step and it is only your thoughts. You can do this
using affirmations.

Affirmations are thoughts you think, listen to via cds or journal to
balance the thoughts of your ego. Yes, it takes practice to get both
going and yes, it becomes a daily thing. I use sticky notes for the
main ones I like to use. I post most of them in my kitchen. Some of
them have been there for over seven years. I still read them daily.
Our ego does not take a minutes rest. We have honed the ego's voice
and this voice has become habit for us. Eventually the affirmations
will also become habit. The purpose is not to wipe out the thoughts
of the ego but to balance it.

Some of my favorites are
I am perfect, whole and complete.
I am enough, I have enough.
I am a financial success.
My home is clean and in order.
I love you.
I think you are beautiful.
I am here for you.
I am proud of you.
I like you.
I hear you.
You are okay.
I am worthy.
I am lovable.

My list goes on and on. I treat myself in my thoughts like I am a
friend I would love to have (while my ego finds all my faults to point
out, but I refuse to argue with my ego as I will never win so why
fight, let my ego be right for itself, in its little hell and I will
aid myself to see the beauty of my actual reality:)

Journalling works really well here too. The idea of a journal is to
work through your thoughts, to hear yourself and to find your own
answers. You should only write three pages a day in your journal.
Front, back front in a smaller book, not a notebook sized journal. To
write more allows your ego to get involved and spin you back into
problems rather than solutions.

While you are working towards things you may also want to keep a
notebook for research on your projects. Yes, if you want something
you need to be solution oriented on how you are going to get there.

Next is your thoughts. While you are away from your journal you need
to find ways to keep up your motivation of adding in other ways to
think. For example the sticky notes, I also use my cd 'Journey to the
self' as well as physical reminders of who I am and how much I love
life. All the things I have up in my home tell a story, a story
allowing me to remember how grateful I am for what I have and where I
have been. This lends to a balanced mindset.

You can also meditate. One of my friends listens to my 'Deep
Mediation' cd regularly. She finds it brings her the answers she
needs, relaxes her and allows her to visit with her guides and those
she has lost while allowing her to feel stronger. I personally am
working on waking meditation, teaching my mind to be in a quiet non
thinking state while living my daily life. Remember this state comes
with practice and I used to meditate regularly to aid myself to learn
how to transfer this state to the chaos of daily living.

This is also where the ideas of dream boards can come in. This is
taking pictures of what you want and putting them on paper. This idea
is also presented in The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron, http://fictionwriting.about.com/od/reviews/fr/artistsway.htm
Once you do these exercises put the paper away. Why? You must
release the ideas rather than focusing on not having them you must
work towards them. Once you can visualize them, then do what it takes
to get there. Things don't just come, they are realized as already
being present as we are working towards accepting they are possible.

This whole process is broken down in the first chapter of my book
'From Above with Love ~ Basic Knowledge One' (available through
McNally Robinson Booksellers in Saskatoon) This chapter takes you
step by step through creating the perception of reality you want by
showing you first how you see your reality now then showing you how to
find your way through the next steps. Those who have completed this
chapter feel it changed their lives and gave them tools to use for the
rest of their lives. Why? because they taught themselves what they
needed along with the reality they wanted to perceive.

The bottom line is that manifestation is not creating what you want
but learning to first accept the self you have, the life you have then
asking yourself what you want and finally allowing yourself to move in
that direction not being attached to the outcome.

Being attached to the outcome is us placing demands on how we think
things should go. This does not allow us to take the turns in the
road nor allow us to listen to other things being presented to us
during our journey. You may start out thinking and working towards
one thing finding something else occurs ending you up in a better
place yet. The idea is to keep going, not with your head stuck but
with an open mind to the possibilities.

If you push you, you will create a feeling of failure. If you really
want something it won't seem like work, it will seem natural and
obvious to do the work required. If you just think you want something
then you may find you always have to push you, then you have to ask
yourself why you think you are needing this for your actions are
showing you something different.

When we are ready for something we are ready. We want to create a
fertile mental ground, we want to stand beside ourselves as our own
cheering sections. We want to boldly go where we have not gone before
and fear of failure becomes a non issue (refer back to first simply
thinking about and imagining the life you want).

You don't remember learning how to walk. You do not remember how hard
it was, but here you are moving around. You don't remember falling
down and getting back up. Why don't you remember? Because you knew
you were going to do this so you figured out how and you did it. No
child learns to walk in the same manner, yet they all learn. Even
those who do not have the use of their legs learn to move their bodies
in a way that works. It is our nature to move forward. It is our
nature to do this and allow the universe to show us our way (even when
others tell us their way is better) our way always works best for us.

So stand up and walk. Trust you will get there. Learn to enjoy where
you are while 'dreaming' of where you are going and creating a life
that lends to that reality. Then be ready to be grateful when it
presents itself, accept it and enjoy it while moving onto the next step.

Those who say "I manifested this" need to be wary of the ego as one
should never forget to be grateful to what gives us the life we have.
Sure we are the masters of our perception but humility keeps the ego
from deciding we control it all too.

Once you are on top of the world, humility and gratitude also allow us
to see we are worthy of even more without feeling guilt or shame for
what we already have. Humility also allows us to realize success is
relative and personal meaning just because we feel we are successful
others don't need to have the life we are living to define success.

Everyone defines success differently. For some it is making ends
meet, others, getting out of a marriage, while for some it is getting
a stronger body, raising kids, keeping what they own in working,
beautiful condition (even if it is 20 years old). Acceptance of self
reflects in the ability to accept others and this state of mind
creates a reality you will never wish to leave.

This world is a beautiful place. This world and you are already
beautiful and enough. You are not broken, you do not need fixing ~
you are simply learning to put the touches on an already perfect cake,
icing, sprinkles and so forth. Just as you would wear make up, not to
change but to enhance. You are perfect now add to your perfect life
anyway you feel will enhance the life you already have.

Strange Sounds ~ Trumpets of destructions ~ Possible theory

A friend of mine had this to say ~ Erin Faye writes
  • I do have a very scientific theory.
Pulling out my major in physics/minor in astronomy lessons from when I was a nerd.
As soon as my girlfriend told me about these strange sounds I said "interesting, my friend LOrraine just said she saw some beautiful northern lights the other day and she lives in Vermillion.. that aint very north".
Northern Lights emit a certain sound that kind of can sound like a whistling or a pulsing metallic shrill. If we were at the arctic right now the sky would be singing and very very loud. Natives used to whistle back to the Northern Lights saying they would dance nicer if you did.
    Ok.
So I looked at the videos. Shit my pants, phoned my mom.
Then I started researching it since she calmed me down.
Lots of cosmic activity is happening right now. A few weeks ago we had a seriously huge meteor shower.
5 or so days ago we had an extremely huge solar flare come out of our sun. Solar flares emit MEGA x-rays into the universe. These rays usually would take about 3 days to get to us. They were travelling at 15 million miles per second. Thats faster than the speed of light. So this was a huge motherfuckin solar flare. It only took 34 HOURS to get to Earth.
Any astronomer who happened to be hanging outside of our protective ozone layer will now have a third nipple on his nose and will most likely die of cancer within the year.
The rays are so severe that they fucked up our electromagnetic field. Forcing aircrafts to re-route their trips and/or fly at a lower altitude because of the rays.
This interferes with GPS, satellite anything, and computers. (which explains why my sirius sattelite radio conked out on me)

So I went to NASA's home page because I remembered when Voyager flew to Jupiter and took audio. Jupiter is nothing but electromagnetism at its craziest. The audio from Jupiter sounds exactly like the sounds. Therefore it is not a real "sound" it is electromagnetic waves bouncing off of things.

Imagine x-rays coming in to earth. They slow down after going through the ozone layer and then they bounce around off of metal objects and eventually slow down enough that they are just bouncing around between the earth and the ozone layer. Meanwhile it is fucking up our own radio waves, gama, gabba, x and all of our other rays too which is off setting them and then charging up our ions in the atmosphere making northern lights all around the world. Which also HUM.

That is exactly what a professor of physics at the u of s said but in like 2 sentences. lol. I explain things with great detail....

I answered ~ I thought it was noise sounds too.... as if the populations sounds were like waves and now the tub was full so the sounds were sloshing back and forth. Your theory is of course provable to me and totally makes sense.

Do not fear the sounds we hear.  Trust yourself, your daily changes rather than fearing what is not yet upon us and may never come.  AR

How many ideas, perceptions and habits are actually your own? Social conditioning has us believing......

Can you pinch and inch proclaims Kelloggs and the weighloss race is on
with the introduction of microthin model twiggy. People she was called
Twiggy for a reason and yet, her frame became the norm and our society
began to decide thin was in.

Coke is who created the Santa Clause image we consider normal.

Cardio only became popular as an exercise AFTER the 90's before then,
there were NO treadmills in most gym. The first lady's gym didn't
even have weights heavy enough for me to do my proper work out. Go
figure!

As women we are taught we need to shave our legs, did you know the
razor company needed to expand their market so movies started showing
actresses with shaved legs to viola! Women decided it is our 'normal'.

Observe of how many things you do just because you 'think' it is normal.

This rabbit hole goes on and on, into the thought of having children,
most people are conditioned to believe your life is not complete with
out them. And yet it is easier to have a child than it is to adopt a
pet than it is to bring a child into this world...... I think our
society is missing the point. Most of us have kids out of social
obligation to our families or personal belief systems and we don't
even ask ourselves if they really wanted them because we are taught it
is 'selfish' to not want children. What if it is actually now selfish
TO want them in this day and age of a tired, over populated world?
You do get to chose what is right for you in all parts of your life,
after all it is your life.

Relationships and how we treat each other. Disrespect has become the
norm there for some reason. Marriage has turned into a social joke
for the most part, based on one day rather than a lifetime containing
tones of voice we should not use on our worst enemy. I personally
totally believe in partnership, but do not agree with how society
disrespects a life long friendship that is meant to endure.

Rolls of men and women in society. People, men can clean and do it
quite well! Men can parent really well to and yet society tells them
different and most decide to follow blindly allowing themselves to
look like bad husbands, fathers even friends rather than being 'less
than men' Yeesh!

And us women? oh boy!! We dress for each other, judge our bodies
harshly, decide we MUST have a full time job, kids, take care of our
man and put ourselves last. (we accuse stay home moms of being
lazy... i lived this one as I was a stay home mom) And we wonder why
we feel crazy or exhausted sometimes!!! We are busy even attacking
other women while we attack ourselves mentally.

We are so darn hard on ourselves. Why? Do we really really need to
live our lives this way? Who taught us this? Maybe, just maybe we
can add in some other ways and ideas, thoughts and habits.

So I am going to ask you.... why do you do what you do, how did you
decide what normal is for you and have you ever taken to ask yourself
what you want?

I am not asking you to rebel, go shave your head or get a tattoo. Nor
am I asking you to leave your marriage nor your job. Don't decide you
can rebel or change your ways by dressing odd or rebellion, you don't
want to change you, you want to add to you.

Take some time and observe your life. Observe your 'normal' and find
if it is still the normal working for you.

Do your best to overcome social conditioning no longer suiting the
life you are living by allowing yourself to add in new and different
things. Sure some may feel like trial and error but you will find
your way. You have to lead you, we don't make good followers, this
causes resentment, blame then we turn on ourself.

Accept who you are now as enough and observe what you should add.
Look at what you feel is missing, not what you are told you are
missing but what would YOU like to add?

Our social training and conditioning can only be brought into the
light by asking ourselves if we are content and if we are not adding
in what may aid us to feel more content in the life we are living now.
Others don't hold these answers, you do.

This year will be a 'hot' year if we let social conditioning take
over, so chose not to. So keep your eyes wide open and think "Have you
ever asked yourself what you want?" Ask..... then just listen first.

If you could do anything, what would you do.....

What does an attitude with gratitude really look like?

Good question as I find many who say they live in gratitude don't.

WHAT?! yes, really.

Gratitude all begins with appreciating what you have already, that
pretty well wipes out the whole population of Canada and the US for
having an attitude of gratitude. What do I mean?

To be grateful at all times you must see the body you have is a gift,
yes, every dimple and roll, wrinkle and gray hear, ache and pain along
with every emotion you have, it is a gift. The mundane life you lead,
the job you have, all gifts, ones to be grateful for.

I don't get it....

Okay, let's say someone gave you a blue car and you said "thank so
much! but I want the red one" that is the same as saying, Thanks so
much for this body but I wanted something skinnier..... Make sense?

This is also the danger of goals. When we set goals sure move towards
them but do not lose the gratitude along the way!

I am enough I have enough. Believe this and you will see what you
have is more already than you could have ever imagined but it is your
perception that creates the attitude.

If you appreciate what you have, know you have enough, are so thankful
for what you have, KNOWING you will always have what you need at that
time (even if it is not always what you want) then you will be able to
live in gratitude.

Gratitude is not just saying thank you, it is really being grateful
and humbled by the life you have been given to experience this
lifetime, body, burdens, job, family, life experiences and all.

Yes, easier said than done. We don't exactly life in a society
grateful for what it has, no, everyday we deal with the need for
immediate gratification (even though we have enough) and the drive to
get more, more of everything without even noticing (and in some cases
loosing what we already have because we took that for granted).

Saying thank you so everyone else thinks you are grateful doesn't cut
it either, for if you still think you don't have enough then you are
not living with an attitude of gratitude. No faking this one.

I love my life. I am enough I have enough. Everything I need is and
always will be there for me. I love my body. Thank you for my work.
I adore my life.

The ego will always badger you will ill will and lack of gratitude but
it does not need to be the only thought in your head. Add in the
other thoughts that create balance, the thoughts that allow you to see
the beauty of your life and you.

Find this and you will find you do have everything and when you are in
pain, you can still be grateful even if it is through gritted teeth
and you can only be grateful for the anger you feel. This is enough,
you are enough and to me, you are beautiful (I don't care if I sound
lame you are.... you are my equal and for me, that is enough to make
you one of the most incredible people I know)

You can do this, we all can, it is just adding in another thought to
balance and create a different perception. Do not change any of you,
decide you need fixing or run to someone to tell you how to do this.
Rather find thoughts that make you feel warm and fuzzy then think them
along with your other thoughts. Simple. Make it simple, keep it
simple for it is simple and better yet, it is your life.

Clairvoyants, psychics, faith and religion ~ AuKeeRa Rayne

Recently I had a woman write and ask me "Do you still have a strong faith in God?  How do I come to keep my faith and consider being open to the gifts you have? Is there any reading you may recommend that might assist me as I try to come to some conclusion about looking into your area of contribution? " and often I am challenged by many faiths as to what I do and where the information comes from.  Even I used to challenge myself, thinking sometime, how is this possible?

This is what I replied.....

One can only do what I do if they have a strong faith.  One can only do what I do if they believe there is one God.  Faith and religion are not one in the same.  Faith goes further.  One with a strong faith never worries their faith might be swayed and I must have one for people who claim to have faith have questioned my beliefs for decades when I have never ever questioned or tested theirs. Jesus Christ himself was stated to be a clairvoyant in book of Paul, yet this seems to be forgotten when it comes to people like me.

Sure there are psychics who use fear tactics to get one to come back again and again, this is just cruel.  (So if anyone claims you need to come back over and over for a reading or treatment in reference to you needing them to balance or 'fix' you, use caution, you only need you)

Prophets are clairvoyant but in ordered to be recognized by any church you must be a part of a congregation, so there fore religion itself is at war.... so this is a good question you ask as really there is no way I can prove what I do is real nor true, so ones who come to me must also operate of faith, yet all people know in the depth of their soul when they hear truth, and this is my saving grace.

I read for people of many faiths and I believe my information is for you from God (However I use the word 'they' for many people do not like the use of God for it's Christian inference thus people like this prefer other terms) and that is the beauty of what I do.  All people are seen as equal, all are spoken to with respect.  All are seen as the Bible itself states, Created in His image, children of God.  Thus everyone is spoken to in a way they understand, with solutions they can work with and in a way their faith cannot only stay intact but become stronger, for them, their way.

When I speak to those who have crossed over I make it quite clear the knowledge coming through if from their loved one and not always what they should do (in regards to advice:).  I have spoken to many about their last wishes, things occurring, possible solutions, about all types of things, it really is quite the unique experience for all involved (including me)

So I cannot tell you how you would keep your faith when coming to me, another one's faith is between themselves and what they believe in for only God knows the hearts of man.

My faith is stronger than any one I have ever met.  I do not drop my faith when things go wrong, rather I work to see how everything is in perfect order even though I may not understand. I allow myself to be angry, I even allow myself to be angry at God, knowing he loves anyway (and I still always finish with I may be mad, I may not understand, but I love you and trust you).  Thankfully I have suffered many losses in my life.  I was told I would suffer all losses known to man before the age of 40, and I did.  I was told it was to aid me in my compassion and understanding for others, and it has, deeply it has.

I find many people search for faith and answers but do not know where to look, I really recommend it is "you" you seek, not your Bible (for interpretation gets lost and confusing so quickly), not another's faith, for they always believe they are right and everyone else is wrong.  All your answers lie in you.  All I do is act like an interpreter between the energetic language that communicates between ourselves and what we believe in and God.  God speaks to us all the time, the problem is most often we have trouble hearing it.  This is where a person like me or journaling and prayer come in.

Because you have all your answers all you need is you.  It does take time to learn to hear them but if you journal daily (no more than three half pages in a smaller journal) you will begin to see the difference between the voice of God and your ego.  The voice of God never barters, creates fear or speaks meanly in anyway.  Your inner voice (connected to God) may be direct and firm but never threatening.

I aid many in this communication for our egos are brilliant and because that is the only voice in your head you often hear, you must allow yourself patience and practice to learn to feel God's constant presence.

Graciously I meet with the most courageous of people often when their spirits seem broken, or when they are at their lowest in grief and each time I see the most incredible person sitting in front of me.  I am humbled by what I do and believe my job is to tell you from you (and what you believe in) what you cannot not hear for yourself right now.  I believe what I do is something everyone can learn to do for themselves, it just takes practice and time.  I also firmly believe in what I do, who I am connected to and the integrity I carry with it.

Often as I watch a conversation between one who has passed and one that sits before me, I can't help but cry myself, it is beautiful.  I do sometimes wish people could see what I do, it is really something. I have such a deep understanding of faith, death, the strength of spirit, and the love of what created us all, I just feel blessed, it is quite humbling in so many ways.

Just trust yourself.  If you are truly meant to be here at this time, you will be, if not then journal for awhile, pray, seek your innerself and wait to see if it feel right.  Yes, I can contribute in so many ways but you also need to be ready :)

Let me know if you need anything else.  I have lots of good blogs and videos on utube you wish to check out.  www.aukeera.com  has all the links.  Take care and have a fabulous day!

Grief and the holiday season

December is a time when emotions are heightened. For those of us who
have lost someone in our lives this time can be one of the hardest. I
can only speak to my own experiences but it is my hope you will find
solace in them.

What do I do to aid my broken heart at this time? Many years ago I
gave a child up for adoption, her due date was Dec 5, she bounced into
this world on Dec 16 then went to her new family on Dec 20. Yes, truly
my heart was broken. What did I do?

Days after her loss, when the feelings were so fresh I went and bought
a ring with her birthstone and wore it keeping it where I could see
it. Having something to represent our loved one with us brings tears
yet also the knowing they are okay. My daughter was alive yes, but no
longer a part of my life, the grief is comparable to the death of a
child. For all of you Mothers (and Fathers) who have lost a child, be
kind to you. Know they are okay, where they need to be, that what you
believe in is taking care of them and although this will never be
okay, one day it will become okay the way it is. Each year her loss
hit me without fail, making the Christmas season very difficult and
unsettling for me. I would light a candle knowing she was loved and
safe. Even after my son was born, my heart did still ache. I met the
woman she had become 20 years to the day I gave her up, and you think
this would take away the loss but it did not, for it is the baby I
grieve and this loss will never leave even though I now get to enjoy
the friendship of the woman she has become. Grief is one of the most
powerful emotions we have and we need to respect this fact.

Know you are allowed to cry, feel the loss, miss them horribly and at
the same time, find a way to be grateful for their life, the memories
and their being that was. Find a way to rejoice in your here and now
(even with tears flowing and a broken heart) find a way to smile.
Yes, it is hard but one can be grateful for their life even though
they have lost, somedays are just easier than others.

Write to your loved one, talk out loud to them when you are allow, pay
homage to their memory with your loved ones, even set a plate at the
table if your emotions move you to do so. Trust they are with you and
they are okay even though you don't feel okay.

Grief does not end, many of us forget this. Sadness will hit you
again and again when you least expect it and around their birthdays
and holidays things are often heightened.

After I lost my father I was out for coffee with a friend one day when
I saw an older man enjoying his coffee, the sight of his hands brought
me to tears for they reminded me of my father. It took me a good
fifteen minutes to get it together, the emotions hit me out of the
blue, there was no way to avoid them, so doing my best not to feel
embarrassed I let tears stream down my face. My friend knew not to
feel sorry for me, she knew I was okay and the memories were
beautiful. I wore a necklace I gave my father during his battle with
cancer after he died. I spoke to him often (and still do). His
birthday was Dec 10, so again this year I woke up not happy for no
apparent reason, yes, it still took me off guard, yes, I still cried
and yes, I still miss him. This loss will not ever heal and yet I
know he is okay, I am proud of the man is was and I know he is where
he is meant to be and yes, I am sad that place is not still here with
me.

Being human is not easy. We love deeply knowing one day we will lose
those we love or they may lose us but yet we have the courage to love
anyway for this love is a gift of being human and loss is the gift of
knowing they got to go home.

In December we often self reflect more than usual with the new year
coming, stress heightens and sometimes the cruelty to ourselves
heightened. The one thing you need to remember is not to be to full
of expectation. Christmas is just another day, you MUST remember
this. And the new year does not mean you rush to change things or
start new things. No, this is a time just to be grateful and relax
(although we seem to often miss that point). It is a time to be
gentle with you and those around you, a time to reflect and be
grateful for the year that has just passed, a time to just be.

Light a candle for those you have lost. Draw them close. Let your
tears come. Be grateful for the family you can still touch (even if
they are now only your furry friends). Just recognize even with all
your loss, you still have your life and those you have lost wish only
that you live. No, it doesn't have to be perfect, nor eloquent, it
just has to be what it is and that will be enough.

Hugs to your heart from mine for I know how deeply painful this time
can be, I made it through, even during the years I only lost me, I am
still here doing the best I can do in each moment in time knowing the
next moment is just a breath away.

The haves and have nots ~ it's a matter of perception

Is there really a good time to decide what you have is not enough? No.

As soon as we think others have more than us or what we have is not
enough gratitude stops.

When we are looking for what we 'need' rather than being proud of and
accepting what we have, living in the moment... stops.

Our society tells us we must set goals to keep our drive up but this
also creates a slippery slope of never realizing we have enough.

When we think our lives are not enough we then look to other things to
fulfill us. We look for our success and acceptance through what we
own, who likes us and then we think we need to prove to others we are
enough leading to us feeling abandoned and alone. This makes our self
esteem even worse and leads us to believe we are not worthy of the
things we think we want to complete us. A vicious cycle complements
of a lack of gratitude and assumption.

Look at your life. Find the simple things to be grateful for and
proud of. It is enough, you are enough. Whether you like it or not
life goes one, you are moving forward, growing and changing regardless
of what you do, this life you cannot stop. You will do what you need
to so jump in.

Being grateful for what you do have creates a fertile ground to keep
on recognizing what you are receiving turing you into to a "have"
rather than a have not.

It is simply a change of though and recognizing you are already where
you are meant to be and will be in each and every moment.

How? You feel yourself begin to pout, your thoughts are having an
issue.... I am so broke. Don't stop the thought rather balance the
thought, I love the place I live (note you have a roof over your head,
then silently say thank you to what you believe in)

Thoughts are about balance. Life is about balance and finding your
middle of the road. Balance each observation you are using against
yourself with another observation which aids you to realize the pride
you have for you and your life. Yes, this does take practice at first
and all you are doing is simply realizing the reality you already
exist in. Thinking this way just gives you more than one perspective.

The process of becoming a person who has everything is only a matter
of thought.
